FullPage Screen Capture: Ultimate Edition — Privacy Policy

FullPage Screen Capture: Ultimate Edition captures the full height of a supported active webpage only after an explicit click, processes it locally, and lets the user export PNG, JPEG, or PDF files. The capture is not uploaded to Bitek or any third party.

Single purpose

The extension captures a supported active webpage from top to bottom and opens a local result page for inspection and export. Unsupported, changing, infinite, or oversized pages are reported instead of being presented as a complete capture.

Information processed

The extension processes rendered page pixels and the minimum technical measurements needed to scroll, assemble, and restore the page. A capture may reproduce personal or sensitive information that is visible on the page. The extension treats pixels as an opaque image and does not perform OCR, profiling, or automatic redaction.

Local processing and retention

During capture, image tiles are encrypted with AES-GCM and stored temporarily in the extension's local IndexedDB. The non-extractable key stays in memory and is never stored. The job record and encrypted tiles are deleted as soon as the preview has been assembled, or immediately after cancellation or error. If Chrome interrupts the process, the job becomes eligible for deletion after 60 minutes and is purged the next time the extension wakes or is used. No permanent capture history is created.

Information not collected

The extension does not retain page URLs, titles, domains, browsing history, cookies, headers, tokens, site storage, clipboard data, user accounts, analytics, advertising identifiers, or telemetry. It has no cloud upload, synchronization, or remote configuration.

Network and third parties

The extension initiates no external request and performs no upload during capture, preview, or export. All JavaScript, styles, icons, and PDF code are bundled with the extension. The source webpage may load its own resources while it is being scrolled, as it can during normal browsing; that website traffic is not initiated by the extension. No remote code, CDN, remote iframe, or analytics service is used by the extension.

Permissions

• activeTab grants temporary access after the toolbar click.
• scripting injects the bundled capture and restoration controller.

The extension requests no persistent host permission, browsing-history permission, downloads permission, storage permission, cookies permission, debugger permission, or clipboard permission.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the user-requested capture and export function. It is not sold, transferred for unrelated purposes, used for personalized advertising, or used for credit or lending decisions. No human at Bitek has access to the capture.

Exported files

Once the user downloads an exported file, it is controlled by the user and the operating system. The extension cannot delete copies the user has saved or shared.
